The NYPD and the Department of Homeland Security are looking for Douala Hashi after he violated an order of protection and showed up at the offices of Queens Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for the second time this month.
Hashi first run-in with the law came when he was arrested June 15, after he showed up at the Congresswoman's office and demanded to speak with her.
According to an article published in the New York Post, when Hashi was told he could not see the politician he allegedly grabbed a building security guard by the collar and yelled, "Don't mess with me," before locking himself in a utility closet.
While Hashi hid in the closet, building security called the NYPD. When the police arrived Hashi cracked open the closet door and sprayed officers with a fire extinguisher. Moments later the police were able to force the door open and place Hashi under arrest.
Before being charged with three counts of criminal mischief and two counts of trespassing. Hashi was hospitalized and given a psychiatric evaluation.
